Closing day

From 11 a. m. the big closing day of the Neuburger Sommerakademie begins with open studios, children's graduation and a graduation party.

All events on the day are free to attend.

It starts at 11 a. m. with the presentation of the children’s academy and the youth workshop. In the Descartes-Gymnasium and in the study seminar, the children and young people show their artistic works of the past two weeks and much more. The first performance of this year's youth theatre course starts at 12. 30 p. m.

From 2 p. m. the artists' studios open in the upper Old Town. Together with the artistic director of the visual arts, Goda Plaum, visitors can also go on a tour of the studio from 2 p. m. onwards. Meeting point is Karlsplatz in front of the Rathausfletz.

At 4. 30 p. m. the second performance of the youth theatre group begins in the theatre. At 5 p. m. the final concert of the participants of Early Music starts in the Congregation Hall, where the classes of Emma Kirkby (vocals), Julian Behr (lute), Mayumi Hirasaki (violin), Frederike Heumann (viola da gamba), Kristin von der Goltz (violin), Josué Meléndez (zinc), Catherine Motuz (trumpet) and Han Tol (recorder) will perform in different ensembles.



At the end of the academy, participants, lecturers and visitors will meet from 6 p. m. in the theatre foyer for locally baked italian pizza and cool drinks.
