Director Louis Villinger studied directing for acting and music theatre at the Bavarian Theatre Academy “August Everding” in Munich. He has directed, inter alia, at the “Prinzregententheater München”, “Theater Ansbach”, “Theater der Altmark”, “Theater Altenburg Gera”, “Theater Landshut” and “Badische Landesbühne”. His productions are regularly shown at diverse theatre festivals.
He works with professional ensembles and amateur drama groups. Due to his inclusive production “FamilienBande” as an exemplary production, the “Theater der Altmark Stendal” was honoured by the theatre award “Theaterpreis des Bundes” in 2015. He won the prize for Best Director for his productions of “Die Leiden des jungen Werther”, “Supergute Tage” and “Verbrennungen”.

Wolfgang Mayer is a professor for practical school piano playing and the former vice chancellor of the University of Music Saar. He studied school music and piano at the University of Music in Karlsruhe. Besides, he studied Jazz in Boston and New York. He performs at many concerts and records numerous CDs with his trio and quartet “Wolf Mayer Dialects”. Furthermore, he works as a pianist, composer and arranger.
The art of creating songs of all kinds, pop songs, Jazz standards etc. when singing is combined with piano.

For my artistic approach, it is essential to transfer aesthetic concepts and experiences from one medium to another. For drawing and for the course, this means, among other things, starting from the question: How does the space get into the surface ¬– and the drawing into the space?
I would like to encourage and support the participants to develop a personal approach to this issue and their own forms of expression, using as wide a range of techniques and materials as possible, from classic drawing techniques to more unconventional means.
Individual and group discussions about the experiences gained in drawing experiments should also be accompanied by occasional excursions into art history and visits to exhibitions on the subject.

The focus of the course is the clarification and further development of own pictorial concepts in the field of tension between representativeness and abstraction. The basis is perception, natural vision (in contrast to the camera's gaze), direct contact with things, precise observation, one's own fresh gaze rubbing against reality, because the training of the gaze is also necessary for abstract work. As a result of spatial-object representations, abstract compositions can be created that structure the image surface with their own pictorial rhythm. The course offers individual support on the way to the further development of one's own visual language. It is aimed at people with several years of painting practice.

Hailed by critics for her “most perfect playing” (Internet Cello Society) and for performing with “great warmth and beauty” (The Strad), cellist Bongshin Ko has appeared worldwide as a soloist with distinguished ensembles including the Munich Chamber Players, the Television and Radio Symphony of Moscow, the KBS Korean Broadcasting Symphony, the Zagreb Philharmonic, and the Central Broadcasting Symphony of China. She has also appeared as a soloist at major venues including Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, and Walt Disney Concert Hall, among others.   In 1992, she was honored as the first Korean artist invited to perform in China following the historic resumption of diplomatic relations between Korea and China, and she has since returned by annual invitation. Ko has collaborated with many of the world’s most celebrated artists, including Mstislav Rostropovich, Bernard Greenhouse, Sir Georg Solti, Leonard Stein, Gunther Schuller, Semyon Bychkov, and Valery Gergiev.   In 1997, she appeared with the Korean Symphony at the Seoul International Music Festival, presenting the Asian premiere of Bernard Rands’ Cello Concerto, composed and dedicated to Mstislav Rostropovich in celebration of his 70th birthday.   She has been featured at numerous international festivals and events, including the Schleswig-Holstein Festival, the Kronberg Cello Festival, the Berlin Wall 10th Anniversary Concert, and the Rostropovich & Friends Concert in Germany, as well as engagements throughout France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Luxembourg, Poland, Russia, Monaco, Croatia, the United States, Korea, China, Japan, and Indonesia.   As a recipient of more than 30 international prizes and awards—including the highest performance honor in her native Korea and the Crossroads Award in the United States for her “superior teaching” - she taught special guest artist master classes at prestigious schools including The Juilliard School, Mannheim Musikhochschule, Korean National University of the Arts, Nürnberg School for Music, and Bejing Central Conservatory. Ms. Ko is in great demand worldwide as both a performer and educator. She currently serves as President of the Bernard Greenhouse Cello Foundation and as Professor of Cello and Assistant Director at the California State University, Fullerton School of Music, while maintaining an active international performance career across four continents.
