Bin Huang - Violine

Bin Huang is a winner of the ARD Competition in Munich and was awarded first prize and the gold medal at the International Paganini Competition in Genoa. Numerous other prizes, such as those at the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, the Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels, the Marguerite Long/Jacques Thibaud Competition, and first prize at the Henry Wieniawski Competition in Poland, which she shared with Maxim Wengerov, are further milestones in her international career. As a soloist, she has performed with orchestras such as the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Czech Philharmonic, the French National Symphony Orchestra, and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, among others, in venues including the Kennedy Center in New York, the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, Opera City in Tokyo, the Great Hall of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, and the National Grand Theatre in Beijing, to name just a few. Bin Huang is Head of the Orchestral Instruments Department and Professor of Violin at the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing and plays a G. B. Guadagnini violin from 1776 on loan from the Peter Eckes Cultural Fund. A sought-after chamber musician worldwide, Bin Huang performs regularly with the Beaux Arts Trio, the Juilliard Quartet, the Guarneri String Quartet, and other artists, and is dedicated to mentoring young musicians through masterclasses around the globe. She serves as a jury member for numerous competitions, including the International Paganini Competition in Genoa and the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow.

Course Description

This course is designed for students, professional violinists, and aspiring violinists with some prior experience.
