Emmanuel Bleuse - Violoncello

Emmanuel Bleuse studied with Philippe Müller, Christoph Henkel, and Janos Starker, and furthered his musical education in masterclasses with Lluis Claret, Bernhard Greenhouse, Gary Hoffman, Natalia Gutman, and Wolfgang Boettcher. He is a first-prize winner of the Matinées Musicales competition in Indianapolis, USA, and has been awarded the Prix de la Bourse Lavoisier and the Prix de l’Académie Ravel. After serving as principal cellist of the Halle Philharmonic State Orchestra, he became principal cellist of the Sinfónica de Palma and is Professor of Cello at the CSMIB. Numerous concerts have taken him throughout Europe, America, and Asia.

From 2000 to 2003, he was a member of the Scardanellis Quartet. His chamber music partners include Gerard Poulet, Peter Csaba, Georges Pludermacher, and Walter Seyfarth. As a soloist, he has performed under the direction of Daniel Chabrun, Peter Weigle, Wolf-Dieter Hauschild, Edmon Colomer, Philippe Bender, Josep Vicent, Salvador Brotons, and Pablo Mielgo. He has made radio recordings and live broadcasts, including those for MDR Rahmen and France Musique.
